My mission is to improve the mind health of all Australians and bring about a significant
reduction in the suicide rate
in Australia today.
In 2003 after several years building a successful career in London, Anthony returned to his home town of Adelaide. A typical 28-year-old male, he was the typical stereotype of an ambitious male seeking his dream job.
Privately he was living a daily battle with anxiety. During October 2003, overwhelming shameful for the way he was feeling and scared of being judged, Anthony continued to ignore the signs. November 7th November 2003, sleep-deprived, suffering with depression and on medication, at 7pm that night he made a significant attempt on his life. A stroke of sheer luck saw him survive. It was during his incredible five year recovery, he discovered and developed a rehabilitation program that today is known as the Lifeback Tracker. |
Numerous close friends and business peers began to ask Anthony to meet for coffee, during which they would confide in him and reveal their own mental health challenges. Each time, he shared his own steps back to good mind health, inspiring and motivating others to follow his own steps in recovery.

"Anthony’s high impact, deeply personal story cut through with our staff in a way that other speakers had been unable. In the days following his presentation, there were many lunchroom conversations about mental health issues that we weren’t having before”.
Neil Duggan -Operations Manager, DULUX
“Anthony’s very frank, open and honest description of his “Mind” Health journey from the depths of despair to now educating people about how to improve “Mind Health” was inspiring. His important message must be shared for the benefit of everyone in our society”
Peter Bray – Senior Manager, Road Service Delivery, RAA
"The address by Anthony was possibly the most interactive and popular we’ve ever had at the FBAA National Conference. Anthony is a passionate, highly engaging speaker sharing his incredibly powerful story, who possessed an innate ability to engage our audience. I’d personally recommend him"
