FINSEC, a private wealth management business put at the front & centre everything mind health related. A powerful lived experience story telling by Wayne Phillips, giving insights into his years working in a close knit, tight team environment. We know his stories of 'working in a close knit team' sharing vulnerable moments in the Australian cricket side was powerful.
BHP Superintendents Safety Day, led by Andrew Winterfield, a real example of leading from the front, with open honest sharing by leaders surrounding the challenges staff face working in challenging, unpredictable circumstances. We had great dialogue from the team, working in groups improving the flow of our discussions with each table openly and honestly contributing.
A superb event organised by the General Maintenance Upper Spencer Gulf Association, held in a very casual, interactive environment, 5pm at the Roxby Tavern. Significant challenges face the fly in, fly out community with the working environments significantly increasing the likelihood of staff to 'suffer poor mental health' issues, caused by a variety of contributing factors. What a great way to foster real open & honest discussion, a well managed event.
A meeting of the entire South Australian Councils, with representatives coming together to hear and learn of ways to improve the financial efficiencies of the council they represent. We were briefed to teach attendees of the hidden, and underlying costs associated with staff not feeling 100% mentally & physically. We share 'real take away tools' councils could take back to their respective councils to help them nurture a culture of care within their staff. A great vibrant, upbeat event
