Our very first 'Save our Mates' Mens Mental Health night, sharing for the first time publically the experience share of Anthony Hart's struggle with Anxiety & Depression in 2003. 135 farmers from Freeling arrived to work out, how we each as a community member can play our part in reducing the appallingly high rate of Suicide in our beautiful country Australia.
Thank you to Gavin Schuster for championing the event, Sherrin his hbeautiful wife for rounding up the helpers to cook the food. 135 Men turned up to experience for the very first time, my recollection of what happened that night back in 2003. What an inspiring town, drawn together to help reduce the rate of Suicide in its community.
Arranged and inspired by our incredibly community focussed Freeling leader Gavin Schuster, we held the night at the Freeling Recreation Centre / Football Club in the heart of the town. Thank you to the local post office for posting out the invitation, to Sherrin Schuster + countless supporters who cooked the BBQ. |
