Its been a big 2 months rolling out the Save Our Mates Roadshows on the Yorke and Eyre Peninsula. The Roadshows has been a tremendous success with local venues, vendors, support agencies and the public getting right behind the events at Maitland, Copper Coast, Port Pirie, Port Augusta, Whyalla and Port Lincoln.
Hart Wellbeing supported by PHN Country SA have created a large public awareness of mens' wellbeing in the region.
Its all about spotting the signs that a mate might not be feeling so great; taking the 4 steps to better mind health; having access to community resources for support and using tips and tools to improve your physical and mental health
Save Our Mates Roadshow No. 2 began this morning at Kennett's of Kadina, Copper Coast. We had a terrific turnout of local tradies listening and engaging with Jeremy Forbes.
A big shout out to Graham Fleet, Kennett's of Kadina for hosting the event and a thank you to Northern Yorke Peninsula Rotary for a delicious BBQ brekky.
135 people, gathered to have a master feed up, great stories and gather amongst a great group of 'Mates'. Led by Greg Schubert, another great night up in Nuriootpa.
